The new job is going well, but seriously curtails the number of hours I have to do other things. So it might be a choice between feeding my children or blogging, and I know what you'd all tell me to do. At least, I think I do.
Meanwhile, a friend of mine sent me this photo.
It's a new game from Gamewright. Come on, Gamewright, send me one, and I'll review it for you. It would be fun! I always liked Gamewright games when I worked in the toy shop.
According to Gamewright's website, Iota is Mensa Select (does that mean "selected by Mensa"?) and is "the pocket-sized game that's big time fun". Yay, Iota!
Apparently, Iota reinforces
- Spatial Relations
- Visual Discrimination
- Strategic Thinking
Go, me!
Please don't delete Iota (the great big blog in the teeny-weeny tin) from your feeders and readers, and I'll see you on the other side of the break.

I will definitely miss your stories, but will wait patiently for the time when you feel ready to start blogging again. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteBoo. Pesky children. Can't they just eat cereal out of the box 3 times a day? No? Disappointing.
ReplyDeleteWill miss you, come back soon.
ReplyDeleteAh, shame, obviously understand, but I'll miss you! don't forget to come back...
ReplyDeleteA toute a l'heure.
ReplyDeleteWill miss you, don't make the break too long. But would certainly not want you to stop feeding the children - or the dog!
ReplyDeleteBye, have a great break, then come back refreshed (and with children who are fed!)
ReplyDeleteHave fun.....unlikely....ok, more realistic......feed kids and catch up on laundry :) go you.
ReplyDeleteOh, you and your priorities....you'll be missed, but I imagine when you post again it will have been well worth waiting for!
ReplyDeleteAny chance of a game called 'Happy Homemaker UK'? Definitely not Mensa Select :) Have a great break, Miss Iota :)
ReplyDeleteSee you soon hopefully....
ReplyDeleteHave a good break - we'll be here when you get back
ReplyDeleteWell played, Iota, well played!
ReplyDeleteWhere will you be going during your break? Down to good old London town? If you do, you know where to find me. Would be lovely to catch up in real life again soon.
PS: With regards to your last comment - don't worry. There were a million factors that made natural birth impossible as soon as I had reached 40 weeks. The medical machinery had been kicked off and I felt tossed around and commanded rather enforced and empowered. I feel that women are given a lot of contradictory advise when pregnant. Yes, natural birth is great and everybody wants you to do it and is pushing for it - but only as long as you fit into the hospital's predefined (manmade) spectrum.
Are you sure you're not just off playing Iota? 'Mensa Select' and all. :)
